A student wants to talk through her plan with her family over the weekend, but they don't use the platform she shares with her advisor. She needs something she can print, share, and bring to the table. This release made plans portable and, behind the scenes, rebuilt the platform to keep her information secure wherever she signs in.
1. Plan Export
Students and advisors can download a career and academic plan as a Word document, including the structure and contacts each institution configures. The plan can travel to an advising meeting, a family conversation, or a file advising already uses.
2. Core Platform Modernization
The main application was rebuilt on a modern foundation with stronger access controls, secure sessions, and clearer separation between student, advisor, and admin areas. The experience looks and feels the same, while the changes underneath prepare the platform to support more institutions at scale.
3. Inactivity Timeout
Idle sessions warn the user and then sign out automatically. Student records stay protected in computer labs, advising offices, and on any shared device.
4. Improved Question History
Question history now has a clearer layout and date filtering. Finding an earlier answer takes a quick search instead of a scroll through old messages.
5. One Tracker for Both Plan Types
University milestone plans and student-selected career plans now share the same Progress Tracker. Students and advisors learn one way of working, whether a plan came from the institution's default path or from Pathway Explorer.
