New platform features bring student outreach directly into advising workflows and move sign-in to secure, institution-ready login.

Two weeks before registration, an advisor needs to remind every student in her first-year cohort to finish an assessment and book a meeting. Before this release, that meant exporting a list, switching to email, and losing track of who heard what. Now outreach sits next to the student record, so the message, the students, and the history all live in one place.

#### 1. Send Email

Advisors compose, save drafts, and send messages to selected students or an entire cohort from Student Management or the student profile. Outreach sits next to the record that prompted it, with history available after sending.

#### 2. Cohort Import

Advisors add students to a cohort in bulk from a spreadsheet, matching on email for accounts that already exist. Launching a caseload or campaign takes a single upload instead of row-by-row assignment.

#### 3. Secure Institutional Sign-In

Students and staff now sign in through a secure, standardized institutional login instead of an app-specific account. The result is a familiar sign-in experience that meets the [security expectations](https://joinadvisorai.com/information-security) institutions bring to every system they adopt.
